Lifelong Lake Superior Sailor
Captain Siri started sailing in elementary school with her friend Susan, whose parents owned the Blue Dolphin in Bayfield, Wisconsin. She fell in love with cold water sailing, and sought out opportunities to be on the water and powered by the wind the rest of her life.
Siri sailed in clubs on Lake Minnetonka, the Charles River and Lake Nokomis. She has sailed on the Great Barrier Reef, the Indian Ocean, and crewed a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean that passed through a hurricane!
She got her US Coast Guard Captain's license in 2018 and served as a charter captain in the Apostle Islands for three years prior to moving to Grand Marais and opening her own charter business here in 2025.
